Survive the cold

Hunger, thirst, warmth and wetness. Rain soaks you through, the night bites, and a fire brings you back from the edge.

Gather and craft

Fell trees, break stone and smelt ore. Make your own axes, bows, shields and armour, and set your camp where you choose.

Hunt and fight

Stalk deer, run down boar, keep wolves off at night. Raiders walk the roads. Draw the bow, raise the shield, pick your fights.

Take to the sea

Sail a longship with your crew. The wind fills the sail and the storms raise the swell. Not every boat makes it to shore.

Explore the islands

Black-sand beaches, sea cliffs and deep forest. Fishing camps, a walled village, and a jarl who doesn't welcome strangers.

Together, or against

Up to a hundred players in one world. Team up, trade, raid each other, or all three before nightfall.
